In a few weeks, sealers in Canada are planning to kill hundreds of thousands of baby seals to make fur coats.
You can stop this from happening.
The Humane Society, an organization that helps animals around the world, is asking people to send a message to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to end the seal slaughter.

It can’t happen! They can’t kill the seals just to do fur coats! I hope it don’t go forward…
actually, it has been illegal to kill white coats for about 20-25 years, the meat is eaten, the fat is used in nutritional supplements AND the pelts are used. if you are against killing animals, fair enough, but if you are against killing seals because of misinformation, maybe check your facts a little closer. and they are over populated so, they are not in danger of disappearing, so ‘save’ seems a little strong. again, if you are against the seal hunt based on accurate facts, i applaud you having the courage of your convictions. but make sure you know the truth.
