Scientists at the University of Missouri have found that people should stand up more if they wish to keep off the extra kilograms.
If a person sits down after exercise, his or her body does not burn fat like it would if he or she were standing.
Because of television, video games and computers, people spend more of their day seated than they did in previous generations.

I still doubt some of the advice on losing weight above.At least I don’t believe some extra fat won’t be burnt after a long distance walking.But standing is actually better than sitting or lying for burning our extra fat.It’s clear that majority of people around the world except the ones in starvation are getting fatter and fatter these years.It’s a dangerous signal for health.
