Stopping in Greenland

The vast majority of travelers fly over Greenland on their way from Europe to North America or vice versa.

However, Greenland offers tourists many things to do, especially for those who like to engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, sailing, climbing and mountaineering.

The Arctic Circle Race, a long-distance ski race, will take place in Greenland in April.

Since there are very few roads in Greenland, most traveling is done by air or by sea.

Greenland has its own airline, Air Greenland, which offers flights from Canada, Iceland and Denmark.
