Sunday Was Hollywood’s Big Night

Many of the biggest movie stars in the world got together Sunday night for the 79th Academy Awards ceremony.
Director Martin Scorsese picked up the award for Best Director for the film “The Departed”, which also won the Best Picture award.
Forrest Whitaker was named the Best Actor for his role in “The Last King of Scotland”, while Helen Mirren took home an Oscar for her part in “The Queen”.
Meanwhile, former American Vice President Al Gore received the Best Documentary award for the film “An Inconvenient Truth”.
