The New York Times Has Corrected a Mistake 48 Years Later

The New York Times proved yesterday that it is never too late to correct a mistake.
In an article about the Broadway musical “West Side Story”, the newspaper erroneously printed the name of one of the performers in the show as George Johnson. His real name is George Liker.
The article first appeared on April 28, 1960.
Mr. Liker contacted the newspaper about the mistake last month.

george liker also proved that the name which earns fame only to be famed always.
making mistakes is natural as human but to own this is greatness. so we must encourage ourselves to own our mistakes.
Why mr liker advice the newspaper so late?? it is funny.
