A New Yorker cover from 2009

The New Yorker is an American magazine famous for its short fiction, articles, humor and cartoons.

It was first published in 1925 and has since printed the work of some of the best-known writers in the English language, such as Alice Munro, John Cheever and Roald Dahl.

Every year in February, the magazine features a cartoon of Eustace Tilley, a dandy looking at butterfly through a monocle.
