Underwater Courses Help Students Learn English Much Faster (April Fool’s)
The following article was an April Fools Day prank that we posted on April 1. Did you fall for it?
If Cedric Macheprin had been told two weeks ago that he would be speaking perfect English by today, he would never have believed it.
Now the young Frenchman is reading classic novels in English, such as Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment.
Cedric is one of the first students to participate in a trial underwater English program at Kaplan Torquay in the United Kingdom.
Kaplan research into student submersion has shown that placing people underwater helps improve their learning abilities by up to 60%.
As a result, Kaplan has created special underwater facilities in the UK, USA and Australia. These facilities are built on a seabed – allowing students to stay completely underwater while they are taking their English course.
