Marija Juric Zagorka was a Croatian journalist and writer who worked in the first part of the 20th century.

A statue was dedicated to her in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

Last week, for some unknown reason, thieves stole the umbrella she is holding in the statue.

The statue was made of bronze and weighs between 400 and 500 kilograms.
