Will we eventually pay more for water than crude oil?

In many countries of the world fresh water is simply taken for granted.

Now that the world daily water consumption is reaching such high levels there might be a shortage of potable drinking water in the future.

Clean water is not just used for drinking and washing. There is not a single man-made item produced without water being used in the process.

And despite the rainwater natural cycle, freshwater resources may not be able to provide enough capacity to satisfy the predicted extremely high demand in coming years.

About 110.000 litres of water is needed to make a car.

Approximately 200.000 litres of water is used in the production of a tonne of paper.
