Duncan is a dog in the American state of Washington. He has done something most dogs have never done.

He has voted. Jane Balogh, his owner, wanted to show how easy it is for someone to vote in Washington state - even if that person is not an American citizen.

All she had to do was write a name and date of birth. She then used Duncan's signature - a paw print - to send in his ballot.

Duncan was able to vote in three elections before officials realized he was a dog.
