The Kosice Coat of Arms
Kosice, Slovakia was the first town in Europe to have its own coat of arms.
It was granted to Kosice in 1369 at the Castle of Diosgyor.
The coat of arms used today shows the symbols of four historical counties.
It has not changed since 1502.
