Bekescsaba's First Slovaks

The first Slovaks arrived in Bekescsaba in 18th and 19th centuries. You can still find remnants of how these first settlers lived at the Slovak Museum located near the center of Bekescsaba.

The museum is filled with numerous interesting objects which show how Slovak farmers in the 19th century went about their lives in this new terrain.
