A Tunnel Under the Danube
Work on a long-awaited tunnel under the Danube in Bratislava will start next year,
according to a report in the Slovak daily Pravda.
The tunnel will be used by both local and international trains. The total cost of the
project is estimated at 550 million euros.
The tunnel will be in operation by 2015 and should help Bratislava with its traffic congestion.
