Soldiers Are Living in Poverty
A report in The Independent on Sunday newspaper has claimed that many British
soldiers do not have enough money to pay for food.
The newspaper said that several soldiers are leaving the army because they cannot
support their families on military salaries.
The report said that increasing numbers of soldiers are close to the British
government’s definition of poverty.
