The Foreign Newspaper Reporter Is A Thing Of The Past

The number of reporters who work for American newspapers in foreign countries is continuing to fall.

In 2002 there were 188 American journalists who were working in other countries. Now there are only 149.

Last week The Boston Globe newspaper said it will close all of its foreign bureaus.
