The Slovak Tourism Industry and the Economic Crisis

The current world economic crisis will not have a negative impact on the Slovakian tourism industry this year.

Slovakia is an inexpensive European destination with several natural and historic treasures, such as the High and Low Tatra mountains, on the one hand, and dozens of castles on the other.

And since European tourists will probably be looking for less expensive destinations this year, Slovakia could be on the top of their list.

Furthermore, Slovaks, who are used to enjoying their summer holidays abroad, are these days thinking of spending their leisure time at local holiday resorts.
