An Italian town is giving its overweight citizens a good reason to lose a few kilograms.
Varallo, a small town with a population of 7,500 people, will provide its overweight
residents with $67 when they reach their ideal weight.
If a person is able to maintain his or her ideal weight for another five months, he
or she will receive an additional $268.
Furthermore, any person who can keep his or her ideal weight for a year will get $670
from the town.
