A London Cabbie Is Retiring After 70 Years On The Job
Alfred Collins has seen a lot of things in his seven decades as a London taxicab driver.
Now, at age 92, he plans to end his working career.
Collins drove his first passenger in 1937. Thousands of people, including Margaret
Thatcher and Joan Collins, have ridden in his cab since then.
"I have enjoyed sharing my vast experience of life as well as learning a lot with
some of my passengers," Collins said.
Collins said he was able to stay healthy for so long by not worrying and by
exercising.
