A German Thief Left His Credit Card Behind

A burglar in a western German town tried to copy a trick he had seen on television.

He attempted to break into someone's apartment using his credit card.

Unfortunately for him, the owner of the flat woke up, and the thief ran away - breaking his credit card in half as did so.

The owner picked up the card, which had the thief's name on it, and called the police.

The police then went to the thief's house where they found the other half of the card on the kitchen table.
