A Book Is Returned After 57 Years
"Northern Lights" by Roger Vercel was last checked out of a library in Marshfield,
Wisconsin on May 10, 1950.
Thus, librarians were surprised to find that the book had been returned last month.
"We don't know who checked the book out," the director of the library told The
Associated Press.
The book is still in good condition.
