The Ueno Zoo
Founded in 1882, the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo is the oldest and most famous zoo in Japan.
More than 2600 animals from 464 species can be seen at the zoo, which covers 35.2 acres.
Rhinoceros, tigers, hedgehogs and California sea lions are among the many animals on exhibit at the zoo.
The zoo is open to visitors throughout the year.
